Which Are The Best Skincare Brands?

Top recommended skincare products

With so many skincare brands on the market, it’s hard to know where to start. With a hard-working team of skincare fanatics at Beauty Answers HQ, we’ve tried and tested some of the biggest and best brands out there, so you don’t have to.

What should I look for when buying skincare?

The main thing to consider when looking for a new skincare product is your type of skin. A product suitable for oily skin may not work as effectively on dry or sensitive skin. Another thing to consider is the ingredients, as you may want more or less of a certain ingredient depending on the results you want to achieve. It’s worth doing your research before making a purchase to be sure you’re buying the product that is best for you. We would also always recommend doing a patch test before adding a new product to your routine, just to be sure you don’t have any adverse reactions to it. Our motto: always better to be safe than sorry.

Only launching in 2006, The CeraVe brand has had a considerable impact on the market in a very short space of time. Their 3 launch products: a moisturising cream, moisturising lotion and cleanser took the beauty-world by storm. CeraVe products are developed by dermatologists and enriched with essential ingredients including ceramides 1, 3 and 6-11 and fatty acids which help to repair and strengthen the skin.
